Last March 16, 2020, the country was placed under strict Enhance Community Quarantine (ECQ) due to the pandemic caused by the Corona Virus also known as Covid-19. This led Quezon City Academy Foundation Inc. (QCAFI) to the immediately switched and work in full swing to go with the changes in the academe under ‘new normal’.
As the school tagline states, “There is no other school like QCA”, Quezon City Academy Foundation, Incorporated (QCAFI) started preparing for the Academic Year 2020 through intensive planning on the safety protocols in the working environment including the rules and regulations to make the academic year safe for both teachers and students.
In compliance to the safety protocols released by the national health authority known as Department of Health (DOH), Quezon City Academy Foundation Incorporated (QCAFI) started their preparation for the academic year 2020.
The Academy’s administration conducted several seminars regarding Covid-19 which attended by its faculty and staff that aims to prepare and familiarized the teachers and staff on the protocols that must be observed for this new normal of Academic Year 2020-2021.
In addition, QCAFI had a full sanitation of the school last March 29, 2020 headed by Sanitary Anti-Viral Point Entry or ‘SAVEPOINT’ team under Providence General Services Inc. The team sanitizes every nook of the school that might be infected of the virus to make sure that those who come in the school will be safe.
Moreover, the administration also conducted Rapid Testing for all its teachers and staff last June 29, 2020 to assure the public on the safety of the school work environment fitting for the new normal.
“I am happy and grateful that the academy is doing what is necessary to make the school as safe as possible not only for its teachers and staff but also to its clients. I believe also that we can achieve greater results if we work hand in hand no matter your position in the institution is because at the end of the day, the safety of everyone will always be that matters.” said Ms. Yfamie Dumalan, QCA English Teacher.
