From F2f to Online Admission: Academy adopts New Enrollment System as Covid-19 continue hitting high stats

Quezon City Academy launched a new enrollment system for the S.Y. 2020-2021, aims to ease the burden and of students and parents and to avoid the spread of Corona Virus as its rapidly hitting the stats.

The school’s registrar, Mrs. Marites O. Cisneros together with the help of Mr. Benedicto C. Ilumin– Grade 7 Year Level Coordinator, propose an online enrollment scheme for the school year which later approved by the office of the administration.

The online enrollment aims to lessen the number of parents and enrollees inside the school and as compliance to the government’s protocol on social distancing. Moreover, the online system also is used for faster processing of the parents’ and students’ concerns in securing enrollment forms and slots.

In an interview with Mr. Ilumin, he mentioned that as the country is facing and battling the Covid-19 it is also the responsibility of the Academy to assure the parents and students a safe environment for everyone. He added that there is also a great development in the process of enrollment compared before. They are after the convenience of their clients.

He also stressed the fact that this will give the parents and students a more flexible time for their enrollment. As the country is placed under quarantine, different schools in the country are making a way to accommodate students and parents the safest way possible hence adopting to various techniques and schemes to cope-up with the ‘new normal’.

Quezon City Academy is only one of the schools in the country who adopt an online enrollment scheme. As of this writing the academy has a total of 1,192 students an 11% decrease from 1,321 enrollees last academic year 2019-2020.
